First day back in Rome for 20 yrs. We had had a great alla gricia and carbonara. They have all the roman classics. We started with bresaola salad. Old school trattoria with well trained waiters. Perfect first meal back in Rome.
Rigatoni democratici was the best pasta I’ve ever tried. Spaghetti with seafood was perfect. The atmosphere was great and staff was full of love and Italian spirit. 10/10 and we will go there tomorrow to try different dishes.
Place is very interesting and has really tasty regional pasta. I tried cacio’e Pepe for the first time and it was awesome. Primavera spaghetti with tomatoes and fresh basil was also wonderful. The wine is also worth a recommendation.
Very nice place to have lunch and dinner. We visited there with friends, group of six people. The staff was very very friendly eventhough his english was not so good. I tried "Bucatini all'amatriciana", specially recommended by that staff:)) with red wine for the drink. I liked the food, place and atmosphere there. Please seat outside if you want to enjoy the vibes of Italy while eating🙂
Food was 10€ and red wine too(one 0.75l bottle for 10€ which can be shared between group of people:))
The food was amazing. I had the Rigatoni democratici, hands down the best pasta dish I've ever had the pleasure to have in my mouth. I also tried the wives spaghetti with clams and that too was really tasteful!Friendly staff, the food arrived rather quickly. Would recommend if you're nearby to give this restaurant a try!
Great little Italian place, just like in the movies! The owners (I believe they are the owners, it seems like a family owned business) are really nice and pleasant. There were no queues at all, which we really appreciated.
We had T-Bone steak with some fresh salad - it was amazing! Very good meat, well prepared and extremely tasty.
Good traditional roman food. Traditional atmosphere. Polite staff. We were a table of 10. We booked in advance because the place was quite full on a Saturday night at the end of January. Note: the puntarelle are not on the menu but you can request them (they are very good) and the carciofo alla romana comes as 1 artichoke but it’s worth every bit of it.
Really really nice and local restaurant! Super sweet employees! You will feel welcome and home here! The food was so delicious! I tried tiramisu for the first time here and I loved it! Definitely with a visit!
